The chip is a near pristine condition Antique Clay composite inlaid STAR Victory Chain made by Hunt & Company circa 1930 until circa 1960+-. The chip is Seymour Coded Antique PW-RD CHAIN STAR. In order for a chip to be Seymour Coded, the chip must have been made before 1946 and there must be some kind of proof of that fact. Chips from known clubs and monograms etc. fall into the ILLEGAL CLUB catagory and can not be Seymour Coded.

My description of this chip I think is correct:
INLAID 'STAR' CHAIN MOLD VINTAGE OLD ANTIQUE CLAY POKER CHIP. These old Chain mold chips are not easy to find and even harder to find Inlaid Chain molds. The chip was recently Seymour Coded PW-RD. (in 2009 I think???)

I do have proof of the vintage of this chip from a great chip collector and a well known authority on Antique Poker Chips from HOWDY'S GUIDE to HUNT & Co.
