This is quite an appropriate item for me to be auctioning here. I don't really 'own' it and don't know who does/did so dont thank me for donating it ..... Long Story.

This is the club convention souvenir chip from 2008. The one I am auctioning is the top one in the scan. It is an error chip. Note the spelling 'CONVETION' missing N on the front.
The original order was delivered with this error. They had to be urgently re-ordered. All but 25 (I think) of the errors were destroyed (Sandi Steffner made something from the broken pieces ) and those 25 were sold to raise the funds to remake them.

During the 2008 Club poker tourny at Binions, Greg found this chip under a table. It must have fallen out of someones pocket. He asked around and no-one claimed it. I subsequently contacted all the people that bought one and no-one said they were missing theirs. I put it in the drawer when I got home and forgot about it.

Originally we sold them for $20, but given that this is such a great cause, and that it might be the last chance anyone ever gets to acquire one, Id like to see it go for a lot more
