TV Fri --gambling films Turner Classic Movies

I like old movies and check out the Turner Classic Movies schedule each day. I just noticed that they have a gambling-movies "marathon" starting Friday AM. Schedule is below (eastern times).

I've seen all those movies. Forgot some of them. Some brief comments:
¶ The Las Vegas Story (1952) -- crime story
¶ Meet Me in Las Vegas (1956) -- tepid romantic musical comedy. A lot of nice colorful scenes of old Las Vegas.
¶ Any Number Can Play (1949 -- I recommend it for some good reasons -- a drama with a very strong cast. There are many scenes of an illegal (but permitted) classy gambling club (1940's) run by Gable with lots of shots of gambling equipment, and much discussion about gambling philosophy. Worth a look. Film as a whole not great, but great for cast/gambling scenes/discussion.
¶ All Through the Night (1942) -- I forget it. Probably good movie and cast. Don't think there are many gambling scenes.
¶ The Great Sinner (1949) -- same value as Any Number Can Play. You really should give it a look. I wasn't crazy about it, but many others gave it high marks.. Great gambling scenes and discussion of European casinos and gambling philosophy in the mid 19th century. From one review: " In this often gripping film based on Dostoyevsky's 1866 story "The Gambler" (uncredited by the producers here), Peck is an honorable writer who falls in love with Gardner, but learns that her father (Huston), an inveterate gambler, is horribly in debt to casino owner Douglas and that father and daughter are almost chattel to the smooth gambling czar. Peck plans to rescue the pair and redeem their IOUs by beating Douglas at his own gaming tables. ... .... Peck is powerful as the obsessed gambler, and Gardner was never more ravishing. Huston makes a wonderful bewhiskered rapscallion, and Douglas, as the slick casino operator, is a man you love to hate. [also: Ethel Barrymore, Frank Morgan, Agnes Moorehead, all good] The art and set direction are excellent, with sumptuous re-creations of the high-fashion gambling rooms, hotels, and salons of 19th-century Wiesbaden."
