Years ago when I worked in that area, whenever we had a need to stay over, we always stayed at the Island Inn on Old Coutry Road adjacent to the Meadowbrook Pkwy.
As I recall, it was a pretty decent place to stay and had a pretty good steak house also. Judst wondering if it's still around?
