Re: Old poker chips info. needed

Jim, How can someone not like the old poker chips grin The chips you show are not particularly scare but the Climax chip is a neat one. Condition, condition, condition. Most antique collectors, myself included, are always trying to upgrade what we have. As for pricing, That's tough. Old clay chips don't rate with Ivories, crest $ seals or old Las Vegas. There's really no up to date guide that I know of. Many of the chips in Dale's book listed in the $10-$14 I've never seen at any price. Many of the most common ones tend to be in the 25 cents to a dollar range, and pricey at that. I'm sure others can enlighten you more on pricing. You're a dealer and a collector, I'm just a collector, so we may have slightly different views of values. Though, I'm sure neither of us wants to pay too much.
