The picture above is from Rich Hanover's web site of the Seymour Coded chip PB-XF "The Family" Paste On Crest & Seal. Rich has it listed as USPCC 1921 with the address 545 Powell St., San Francisco, CA 94102 and that address I assume came from USPCC records but the ZIP code suggests maybe not? Roy Klein found a link that confirmed the chip was used at the club and the link had some great history and information about the club including a picture of an inside door with the same The Family logo on it in gold leaf. For some reason, the link no longer works. sad The engraved "The Family" chip below is uncoded and I would have to guess that it pre dates the Seymour Coded chip pictured above. The chip scan was donated to our Seymour Coded Antique Chip project by an Antique Chip collector out of Wilmington. It is the only engraved The Family chip that I have ever seen but I had heard from other collectors that the chips do exist. I would give a very nice reward to anyone that has one available. grin
