~~~ there may be an R/L and A/G example.

In the original photos (my copies) one complete page is seen with several colors "A/G" which can be easilly found using Eisenstadt's original "index" compliled years before Kregg's book; (#49) and "R/L" (#7).

I could be wrong, but I think both examples seen on both cards are A/G and R/L chips.

My reasoning: We've found chips years after the photos have been taken where only one side was seen/known (mounted) and not the other; then, years later we found the actual chips learning what the other side looked like... One was C&S and the other was C&S/Die-cut.
