You know something Bill, The White Manna has been written up just about everywhere. In some places even called the best Burgers in America, certainly here in Northern Jersey
It's less than a mile from my home and I finally got there about a year ago.
It's sort of a dumpy little place reminiscent of a 40's diner but barely big enough to fit a dozen people inside once the few seats are taken.
I'm not sure what the mystique is about the place other than the aged atmosphere. The burgers imho were just ok little sliders with onions on top and frankly I was a bit disappointed so I made another trip with the same result.
I even called my best friend and asked him if he had ever been there...well, the reply I got from him was the same.
Perhaps I'm missing something. I may very well be as they line up every day as though they were going to some type of a burger shrine....
