The physically nearest would be casino san pablo, just across the bay bridge and about 5 miles north from San Francisco. This is a class II casino, players have to "daub" the slots at least 3 times before the reels will stop. They are technically playing bingo, but the slots look like any others. Maybe they could get to a blackjack table, which is banked by someone at the table other than the dealer. (House cannot bank card games in class II casinos.) (directions: Take I-80 north to the San Pablo Dam Road exit. turn left and go about 5 blocks. San Pablo dam road goes right into the casino parking lot. Next nearest would be River Rock casino, about 45 minutes north of San Francisco at Geyserville. Full casino, poker, blackjack, slots etc. On top of a hill with killer view of the sourounding Alexander valley. Pretty good food. The largest and most like a Nevada Casino, about 1.5 hours from SF would be Cache Creek (q.V.)
