Bill Judge...sorry I didn't post this yesterday...

we headed out of town for the night, right after work. Are you out there tonight?

Bank Club
17 E. Fremont Street
Las Vegas, Nevada
1938-1945
according to Fuller's Index, the Bank Club was licensed for slots and blackjack

It's rare to find anything from the Bank Club, and I don't find it listed in our 1939, 1944 or 1945 phone books. Several years ago there was a seller on ebay who listed several postcards from the Bank Club in Las Vegas. I'd never heard of the club, and couldn't find any info on it, so I thought it probably wasn't from Las Vegas and the seller was just saying Las Vegas to attract attention to the auctions. sad Missed my chance. This picture is from the History Channel's series on the history of Las Vegas. I put the tape in the player (yes, tape...VHS!), and paused the tape then took a picture of the t.v. Well...it's better than nothing...

Anyway...Bill saw my picture a couple of days ago and said if I'd post the picture yesterday (Wednesday), he'd post a picture of the matchbook. Hopefully his offer didn't expire at midnight...!! grin
