There is a group of chips that have increased in price continuosly, and will continue to increase geometrically!!! Cuban chips.

Cuban chips went from late 1800 until midnight 1958 and then stopped!!! The youngest chip from Cuba is > 1/2 a century old!!!! There were no LE, most were lost and it has been a while since any Cuban chip of importance has shown in ebay or even in direct sale, why?? There are none left. The island is dry, people stopped going to Cuba to look for chips because there are few left.

Next summer a Cuba Catalog will come out which is part catalog, part history, of the chips and gaming in Cuba; another increase in price.

Last, Castro and the regime disappears and the millions of American Cuban looking for some sort of memorabilia that represented the last they had, glamour, Casinos, Casinos, gambling, etc, THE PRICE OF THE FEW LEFT WILL GO UP!!! And as will be seen in the book/catalog, as opposed to a chip representing a casino, most chips from Cuba come with their own history since most gambling was not done in casinos.

The only reason you do not see many Cuban chips anymore is because they are all in collectors hands, many waiting for the boom. Manyyyyyyy trying to complete their collections before the prices become impossible. Although right now a very good C&S from the HYC will get you high 1,000s, many can bring you a lot more. A $100 chip from a late casino, goes for several 100 dollars. So.......... Our dirty little secret, Cuban chips!!! (Unfortunately, for most of us, it will be hard to sell at any price!!!!!!!!!!!! After collecting these chips for 8-10 years.)
