I remember that chip well Ron.
In Response To: Re: Follow-up ()

The day the Queen of Spades chip was issued at Trump Marina was on the same day that the funeral services for Jim Harp, former CC & GTCC officer, was held.

Chuck Tomarchio, Brenda and I attended Jim's out of state funeral and as a result I was unable to purchase any of the queen of spade chips for my then very active A.C. new issues service. The Queen's chip release was not announced in advance and when it was discovered that I was not in attendance for the release and was unable to purchase any chips for my 100+ new issue subscribers ... a late day announcement was made on the chip board by Bob Mera, then owner of the Chip Emporium on the A.C. Boardwalk, "The Queen Has Been Captured" and the announced price for the sold-out chip was set at something like $65. This chip became the key to the royal flush series. Today, the entire royal flush series can often be purchased for slightly above face value.

Milt has been defacing every queen of spades chip he has come across since then with an Xacto knife.
