I personally seem to think that since many of the properties are either owned by banks or non casino entities
that the people running them are more interested in keeping their jobs by towing the corporate line than concerning themselves with customer service and making profits.
Only a few days ago, there was an Article stating that Pennsylavanias 9 casinos which are scattered throughout the state had a larger slot gross than all of A/C.
Ever wonder why?
Take a look at the Tax rate in Pa. I think it is somewhere around 55% Vs. that in A/C which isn't even a fraction of that yet they don't seem to be crying poverty.
Yes, there are a lot of issues at stake here heavy debts etc
However while all the sorrounding states take away all the slices of pie, A/C if luck will get to lick the plate.
Hey, if any of you casino executives are reading this, here is a thought.
Stop bombarding us with free toaster ( I already have 117 of them) stop sending us $5 coin coupons and expect us to drive 150 miles to come down and pick them up.
How about some decent entertainment in town other trhan at the Borgata, bring back decent food not only in the A/C restaurants but in the clubs.
I recall at The Taj when you had waits of up to an hour to get into the Sunday Brunch. That is until they raised the price to $45. Does anyone wonder why they don't have a brunch anymore.
In LV they might lose money on food or perhaps break even but it brings in the customers.
Learn to once again totake care of your customers and treat them as such not like someone who's pockets you can empty
