I have seen others like this on here before, but thought I would share this one.
I came across this chip in a pile of others, and it appears to be some sort of "prototype" or discarded chip that Paulson overstamped with their starburst hot stamp to cancel.

If you look at the chip very closely you can see that it has the same hotstamp as the 25¢ fractional chip issued, seen below [image courtesy of silver state treasures].
However, the chip is blue, and not the same orange color as the other chip.
So, was this a chip that never got produced for the casino?
Or did they change their mind about the color after the fact?

What is a chip like this worth?
Just curious.
