I disagree with Barry. You need a car. Southpoint is great but its still a microcosm of Vegas. There's lots of stuff to do all over town and plenty of chip runs to go on. That said you find a chipper and say "where you going, can I join" you won't be turned down very often. Unfortunately last time i did that I ended up at the New Town Tavern...
