I've never been in a PT Cruiser. I have a friend who bought one the year they were introduced, and he only had it for three months. It was a real dog in the horsepower department, and he didn't care for the stares he got while driving down the road. He traded it in on a Subaru WRX. Good choice! I've rented HHR's (what does that stand for?) and they are pretty nice little cars.

I remember seeing those Rolls hood/grills on VW bugs. That was one case were putting lipstick on a pig actually made it look better.
