Yeah, but...

A silver strike is also a "token". Most silver strikes have the word "token" on them. I know they are prizes, but they are also technically tokens.

I think the word you're looking for is "slot token". A slot token is meant to be played in a slot machine; a silver strike is not.

However, you answered my question. If your $25 token would operate a slot machine (back when they took tokens) then I agree it's not a silver strike. I should have checked Janice's Nevada Token List before I answered this post as it is listed there as O'Neal 3949. So this is a real slot token, just not an unknown one.
