Offered here is a chip with a little bit of mystery. Both sides are the same and the scanned chip is the chip being offered. Some call it a prototype; a design offered to the casino but not used, while others call it a sample; a chip given to sales people as an example of the products offered by the manufacture. And some may say it is a floor sweeping; the product of testing heat and pressure settings on the manufacturing equipment in a test run, intended only for the trash can after making.

However, it still remains that this chip was made by a well known manufacturer (Paul-Son Gaming) and is in the likeness of a well known casino operation (Circus-Circus, Las Vegas). It is denominated and otherwise appears to meet all requirements of Nevada Gaming for a live casino chip. Made in a reverse hat and cane (RHC) mold, this chip has the same inlay on both sides and is crescent notched at 3 spots on the rolling edge. The chip is in otherwise New condition as categorized in the Official Grade & Condition Descriptions and Standards guide.

This chip is catalogued as E3876 in the most recent edition of The Chip Rack (TCR) TCR #11.
