Re: weight of clay composition chips

Thanks for responding to my question Smitty.

Those are nice mongram chips, but I'm looking for chips that have some type of edge mold, and a slightly larger set of about 500 chips, for a game of 8 or 9 players.

By the way, the heaviest clay chips I have in my collection are ones with the "cord" mold. I've got the $5 El Rancho cord mold chip, and a set of vintage cord mold chips from the Bud Club in Indiana. There must be a pretty big lead slug in there. I'm guessing that its at least 11 grams. Are there others like this?

Does anyone know which clay chips typically have bronze flakes mixed in with them? I have a "dice and arrow" chip that seems to have bronze flakes in it. Is this true with all dice and arrow chips? Are there other molds with the bronze dust that makes them heavier?

Thanks,
Jeff
