So to recap -- Cecil Newton, pastor at a small church in dire need of repairs & upgrades, tries to "sell" his son to a college football program, Mississippi State (the same college that Cam said that he really wanted to play at), which refused the "play-for-pay" scam. Cam accepts to play at Auburn with no reported exchange of money & Cecil Newton's church SOMEHOW gets the money to complete some of the upgrades needed. Sounds above board to me!!

To be honest, I honestly believe that student athletes should get some assistance because what THEY do benefits their institution.

Did you see where the USC running back got a ride on campus to class in a golf cart from a USC student that also happened to be a registered NFL Players Agent? The student / agent has since had his NFLPA certification revoked, but the student had to pay back the value of the ride -- $5. Cracks me up...
