~~~ as it seems most descriptions use the "circle" term; even the design patented info found in Dale's work (even concentric 'circles' w/ ivory)... and/or the clay mold groove descriptions; raised circle, circle of rectangles, small circles/large & small circles, zig-zag and circles, double broken circles and so on (as seen in Herz' work "Gaming Check Mold Designs."
