Re: Speaking of Lodge Chips
In Response To: Speaking of Lodge Chips ()

You would have to be a member to play. I have not found any that are operating even for the membership. At least they are not admitting to it any way. I have been an Elk for over 40 years and so much has changed. We had a card room and played after lodge meetings every Tuesday night. Most days a game would be going in the afternoon. A local lodge had a poker night but played with generic chips and it was a fund raiser where you won prizes not cash. When I approach different lodges asking about chips and card rooms I get a lot of funny looks and questions like "Why do you want to know" etc. I would guess that some form of card games are going on but they don't want the outsiders to know.
