This is a regular topic of discussion here. One would think that common sense would prevail and everyone use padded mailers. As the shipping charges normally are $1.50 to $$2.50 or included in the chip cost, it is the buyer that is absorbing the cost, so why cut corners? We all have enough to worry about, without holding your breath every time you receive a chip in a regular envelope. It's not about the seller saving a few cents, it's about reducing the chances of the buyer getting damaged or missing goods. MHO
