Re: Another Poker Question...
In Response To: Another Poker Question... ()

The stats are the percentage of the time that hand will win against the other hand. position has no relevance because the odds are calculated as if the hand goes to a showdown. there can be no reasonable way to calculate whether a player out of position would voluntarily fold his hand to a bet.

the odds of suited AK going against another suited AK are going to be the same pre flop but they may be different post flop. if one player is holding hearts and the other is holding diamonds and the flop comes all clubs, then neither player can hit a flush. but, if the flop comes with two hearts, now the AK of hearts has more outs to win although the statistical likelihood is still going to be a chop.

they show the odds for hands multi-way and not just heads up. that's why you'll usually see that somebody who flopped middle or bottom pair four handed is actually a favorite yet that hand will get folded a lot because multi-handed, that hand still isn't that strong.

Another Poker Question...
If heads up and pre-flop then yes 50% each
Thank you!
The odds for 2 suited AK's prefop heads up are NOT
7.16 / 7.16 with 85.68 for the tie
The question was "Would they give them each 50%?"
I didnt think they showed a tie % on screen?
Generally only ever heads up
