You will be fine, in casual clothes, at both locations. Check casino hours for table games. The slots might be open but not the tables. Tables not open, no chips to be had.

In St. Maarten you can hit about 5 casinos in the down town area by walking. (Jump Up Casino has no table games). The rest are out of town and will require a cab.

In PR. try to find an English speaking cab driver and tell him you want to get to as many different casinos as you can in 4 hours. My guy was very helpful in talking to pit bosses and cage people, in Spanish, to get me some of each of the chips I wanted. We were in and out of most places in 10 minutes. Try to pick someone that sees the fun in your quest and both of you will have a fun day.
