It is great to have a chip from a friend/member who took the time and had the imagination to draw something up to pass on to another friend.

We are chip collectors aren't we?

Some personals(in fact many)are little works of art which are better looking than many casino chips.
Are they worth anything? Nope...at least not in cash. But the memories of the people who designed them and gave them to you are priceless, especially for members who are no longer with us.Most of the members in this club remember that Greg Susong(for example) as an outstanding individual and his personals are the only thing that they have left to remember him by. His personals bring back fond memories for his friends and they would not give those up for anything.
When I go through my personals and see ones from members whom I like to call friends,it is similar to looking at a photograph and many times they bring up fond memories.
It's not always about the money!!!
