This year's Great Lakes Chip Show was in my humble opinion a very well organized show. There was a diverse selection of items, and just about anything that you were looking for was there.

Of course not as large as the national Vegas show put on by the club, but one darned nice show just the same.

There were 25 dealer tables, and if I do say so myself, quite a few very nice deals to be had. There were cheap chips for face and a buck over face and there were plenty of high end chips as well. For those that spent a few minutes looking closely there were some downright steals to be had.

Door prizes goodie bags were given away all day long as well as chip prizes.

For those that were able to make it, you all know exactly what I mean. I seriously doubt that anyone that attended went home empty handed. I would venture to say that all that came went home with a surprising number of treasures. You all chose wisely!

For those that did not come thinking that it was too far for a small show or that perhaps it wouldn't be worth their while...... you chose poorly.

I for one, would not miss next year's Great Lakes chip show. No how, no way!

I can only imagine how good this show is going to be next year. Limited space is going to cause a problem when the dealers all scramble to sign up. Once the word gets out to the chipping communbity how much stuff was heree and the great prices and great trade sessions, it's going to really be a GREAT Great Lakes show.

To Albert and all of the helpers and people who pulled this all together: Hats off and a major Well Done !
