This chip most certainly came directly from a poker room on the Las Vegas strip. I know because I was there when it was "preserved". Would anyone else want such a chip that can never be proven to be from that establishment? Such a chip would never appear on an approval list from the NGCB and might not have been "legal" to use, but I know where it came from so I keep it with the rest of my chips from that casino. Good enough for me and in the case of your Resorts chip, good enough for you.
