I was just trying to get some input from our membership regarding some questions and meant no harm by posting here... and of course Doug is right about 'club business' should be reserved for the club message board -- we all agree with that, and it's been stressed many, many times in the past.

Jim Reily had a good practice at one time; he would post the same message on all three frequently visited message boards: here, CCGTCC Message Board and Chequers.... Most responses at that time were here. I used to say "Here is where the action is!"

Yes, hits at the club BBS have dropped off quite a bit since first set up... and that's only because of all the activity here with buying/selling/trading and links to eBay Auction ads and members' websites posts (...and a lot of other stuff that would normally not even be considered proper for te lub message board..).
