Translucent. Machine engraved... 90 x 60 mm (Any idea what this was used for? Manufacturer's sample/gambling?)

Note the bottom right-hand corner on the reverse (obverse is perfect); red pigment filled in the horizontal line above a chip (on the surface, only) which is only on the face, not on the edge of the plaque. Looks as though it was there from time of manufacture... There is also a dot between the 4 and 0 (serial number) where pigment fell in there as well.

Also, the residue from a piece of cellophane tape over the 5.0 has been removed, carefully.

The piece came out of The CARO Collection-Paris, France.
