OK, this week I figured out how much exactly my vote costs. $1,087.43. Here is how I found out.

4-5 years ago I purchased a Dell Inspirion laptop for a tad over $500. It came with a 90-day warranty. On day 87, I got a blue screen. I called Dell. They told me to send it back. A week later, Dell tells me the hard drive is shot, and it is going to cost $350 to fix.

"Whattya talking about!!", I bark, "it is under warranty!". No, Dell tells me, it is about a week out of warranty. You see, according to Dell, the clock on the warranty began on the day I ORDERED the laptop, not the day I actually RECEIVED the laptop, about 10 days later. Believe me when I tell you, I had a fit, but no matter how much or to whom I complained, Dell would not relent. I told them not to repair it, and to send it back to me. A friend tried to fix it on the cheap, it was never the same.

I was so upset, I wrote a letter to the Attorney General of my state (NY). I didn't even know who it was, I was really just PO'd and venting Then I forgot about it. About a year later, I got a call from a lawyer in the Attorney General's office, saying she is calling me at the direction of Andrew Cuomo. "Sheesh", my talk-radio warped FoxNewRushLimbaughIsDaMAN brain pauses, "not that Cuomo guy, yechhhhh"........

Long story short she says Cuomo saw the letter, and had 4-5 with a similar complaint. She asked a few questions, and told me they would try and do something.

Well, fast-forward to Saturday just passed, like 2+years later. I come home to a letter from Mr. Cuomo, which says in summation, he sued Dell on my behalf, he won, here is your check.

$1087.43. About twice what I paid for it.

Integrity-schmegrity. For this election cycle, my vote for Govenor of NY is going to Cuomo. Every man has his price----mine is $1087.43!

I do feel sooooooo dirty tho lol......at least I can buy some good soap!
