In fact, some of us are checking with our connections; those who either worked on the property, or next door, when the Playboy Club closed in order to learn what might have taken place during the period you mentioned. The only problem is that some of them are scattered all over the map and it's taking time to locate them... Who knows, if there are additional chips out there or if we feel there are additional chips about (with our "back and forth" ), we may just decide the chips are worth far less than discussed here -- and perhaps more in line with the proposals you received during your earlier search.

Do you have any of the notched Playboy Club Bahamas $500 chips as seen below? I'm asking this since you are not a collector and if you did have them, you may thave thought that they are of no interest to collectors and thought not to mention them.
