DGI, actually
In Response To: OGI? Got any IDers? ()

Smitty:

It's DGI for Duro Gaming, Incorporated, out of Brooklyn, New York (now somewhere in Suffolk County Long Island). They put on events and used these chips. They now use others. I believe they started in the late 1950's, but that's purely based upon my faulty memory. I tracked them down about 5 years ago, and wrote it up on the board. I contacted the company and they confirmed that the chips were theirs. I would post more info, but that stuff is on my other computer, which is not fired up right now. I believe Chuck Tomarchio had a number of other colors, one with inserts, that he received from one of their dealers. Have any extra yellow chips? I only have the green. I may also have another color, but not white.

I hope that helps.
