I hate to dig up an old thread Roy but my email will not let me attach any pictures. This is all we could find on the chip... from Aarman's California Guide. I don't know if you can read it but it says it was used in the 30s. When I get the chip I will make a post and see if any California collectors can add any other history like maybe a definate date? Very cool old CAL chip!
