Jay, perhaps not so quick...

Jay, the description for E9441 is currently right on. It would be V3187 that is wrong and that is just the inlay description.

I would also suggest tracking V5167, as there should be a 3rd "500" NCV out there, as follows:

In my past discussions with various employees of The Orleans (Poker Room Manager, Tournament Managers, dealers, floor persons, etc.) it seems that The Orleans has ordered 3 different sets of poker NCVs. One set is devoted to the annually conducted Orleans Open. One set is used by the poker room for their twice daily tournaments. The third set sees actions for private poker events (like the ccgtcc's several Tournements there). This set also saw action for a brief period of time when the poker room offered a third daily tournament at 11:00 PM. (Since that tournement over-lapped with the daily 7:00 PM tournament, they needed a different set, as well the additional chips.)

Recently, that third set has been brought in as the twice daily tournament set and the second set is used for the private events.

The set used for the Orleans Open events, I believe are as follows:

1 - There is no 1 NCV

5 - I am NOT certain that there is a 5 NCV. Since there is a second known 5 NCV (the hot-orange version), it is possible that that chip is used with the Orleans Open set, but it might instead be used with the third set (the private games set). It is questionable that a 5 NCV would be needed or used for a Tournament set that is played at a higher stakes level. (I will ask when I visit Vegas next.)

25 - Another tricky one, as there are 4 colors entries in TCR for this, but there should only be 3 chips. I used to think that the two green versions were different in shade because of a re-order, but I'm leaning more towards two different shades for two different sets. The TCR entries for olive and lime 25 NCVs could possibly be a function of two different people looking at the same chip and characterizing the same color differently. I do not have the olive version, but them my lime version I would tend to descrive as olive. (Again, I will ask around at The Orleans next trip.)

100 - V5164, which I don't have, would have to be the version for the Orleans Open set.

500 - Process of elimination would indicate that V5167 is the Orleans Open 500 NCV, however, it is listed as being a white chip, as is the 100 NCV just noted above as the Orleans Open set 100 NCV (V5164). Both can't be white (in the same set) but it is possible that one of them see no use.

1000 - The previously known V5168 (which erroneously reflects maroon in the "color" column, is not the Orleans Open version. I believe it is now in the private party set. The 1/2-pie, white/maroon that I've posted here recently is in the current, twice daily, tournament set. I believe that a third version is un-recorded and being used in the Orleans Open set.

5000 - the V5169, a 1/4-pie, white and peach chip, I believe, is being used in the twice daily tournament set. A second known, but not TCR recorded 5000 exists, but I do not know if it is in the Orleans Open set or the private party set. But it is quite possible that there is NOT a third version of a 5000 NCV. (To keep matters clean, I will post the un-recorded 5000 in a separate post.)

Thanks for the reply post, and keep up the good work. Since I've not heard from David, he must be taking some time off. Perhaps you ahve some stuff for him to do, as we wouldn't want to slow him down. *vabg*

Thanks Jay

The 5K is already posted. An interesting thing...
