I leave tomorrow morning for the worlds longest yard sale. I will be making my usual run from Crossville TN to Cincinatti. I stop overnight near Lexington and then continue to Cincy on Thursday. Fortunately I got a free room offer at Grand Victoria a few days ago. The yard sale doesn't officially start until Thursday but by then all of the good stuff is gone. Most dealers are set up on Wednesday. Only problem is that the forecast is for temps of 101 degrees tomorrow, cooling off to 99 Thursday. Normaly it is at or over 90 but this is going to be a real challenge. I usually drink at least 6 bottles of water during the day and don't know if you could even drink more than that. You know you are sucking a lot of water when you know the location of every porta-potty over a 200 mile course. In any case if would be a lot more fun if the temp stayed under 90 for once. I always hope to find chips and occasionally I do. One year I found a previously unknown CA chip in the bottom of a box that I sold for $70. And there are always other collectibles to get. This year I am taking the van instead of the convertible since it will be too hot to keep the top down anyway. Plus I get to buy some bigger things.
