El Casino Aleman

A GOOGLE search of ["casino aleman" cuba] does turn up a bunch of links, so it is quite possible that there was a German Casino in Cuba that had gambling. El Casino Aleman seems to have been started in the 1860's and in that time period a casino was not a gambling establishment, it was a recreation facility for dancing and dining, usually found near the ocean. Some of these old time casinos did have poker games and needed chips. But we have yet to turn up any gambling collectible items from the El Aleman Casino, so it is not on the Caribbean ChipGuide. If they did have chips, must likely they were generic and did not have the casinos name on it. There are tons of generic chips attributed to Cuba.
