When I was 15/16, I had several old cars and would "cruise" State Street in Santa Barbara. I paid between $50 and $100 per car. I remember having a 1936 Ford coupe, a 1939 Ford sedan and a model A....Didn't have the money or skills to fix them up other than to paint the rims some weird color and maybe add flames....That was around 1954-1955....
