It's easy

Is relatively easy most of the time, if you have a few of a series. Although they used the Cuban peso as their currency, they used the $ sign. So, in the casinos they use $ and the dot in front of the number if is ctvs or no dots if pesos (dollars). When there were no $ sign, the dot still persisted and told you whether it was cents, dot in front, or no dots, pesos. Occasinally they used the ctvs or c after the number for cents. And rarely, some casinos would put NO $ on the cents and then put the $ on the dollars.
