Not Much Up Here in the Hudson Valley

I played in a local poker tourney last night, I almost backed out, but it was 6:00 PM and no snow yet so I played. It started around 11:00. I drove home at 12:45 AM, there was about an inch or two on the ground. I fully expected to wake up to a foot at least, but at 8:00 AM the snow was done and we have maybe 3 inches total!

I came in second in the tourney, but I am still annoyed because I had 80% of the chips and was heads up versus a guy who had NO IDEA how to play. Really, NO IDEA. He folded one hand in five. I had him all-in twice as a huge dog, one K-K v. Q-5 (he made two pair), and the other I had A-J on a flop of A-6-2 rainbow, I checked, he bluff shoved all in w/Q-10, I called, and he hit a Q on the turn AND the river to cripple me. I went out 2 hands later when I pushed with 99 and he called with J-5, of course he hit the J.

Lol, I don't know if I am more upset about losing the first place $$$ or losing to this guy. Some of my buddies are still ribbing me!
