Casino Archive Project - Want to get involved?

Yesterday I made a post about the Casino Archive Project that I've been thinking about, and got some positive response, so I've set up a site using WikiMedia software at a site that offers free hosting to wiki's. I've set up a few preliminary pages for casinos, but they need images of items and historical background added to fill them in.

The site will only get created and grow if people (like you) get involved. Probably the best way for this to happen is for those wishing to contribute to select a particular casino to "adopt" and concentrate on building a page for it. You can also get involved by adding scans to existing pages if you have an item from a particular casino.

I can help set up the basic page to get you started, then it will be up to you to take it from there and add the scans, historical information, etc. If you're comfortable setting up the basic page, then go ahead and start yourself. Of course anyone else who comes along may chose to edit and contribute to your casino's page--that's the way wiki's work.

If this project looks like it is worth continuing, we will need to set more standards to keep things fairly uniform. There is a discussion tab on the Main Page where we can discuss ideas and improvements.

Give the site a look and jump in if you want to help build it:
