...and therein lies the biggest problem with

chip "slabbing". For a recent $1 Aladdin, no big deal...we should all know the approximate value and condition is apparent. Now what if that was a 1st issue $100 Aladdin? WHO is grading that chip before it goes into the slab & WHO is assigning a "value" to it? Would Dave trevett want to plunk down hundreds or thousands of dollars on a chip that who-knows-who graded? And for that kind of money, wouldn't YOU want to take it out of the "slab" to inspect it up close yourself? I certainly would (if I had that kinda money vbg).

Glad this issue is a dead one, that's for sure...and thanks to those who fought so hard to keep slabbing out.
