Harrah's next legal challenge is the Terry Watanabe issue. Terry lost a couple of hundred million at Wynn before he was asked never to play there again (Wynn saw the train wreck coming), went down the road to Caesars and lost over a hundred million. Sought treatment for his gambling and alcohol addiction. He ended up owing $12 million and the DA arrested Terry. Harrah's should have discounted the last markers and the DA never would have got involved. Claims that Harrah's provided him with drugs, kept him drunk for 6 months... I am sure he has a little personal responsibility in this matter. This is an interesting case.

Terry Watanabe is from Omaha, and was a regular player at the 2 Harrah's properties in this area. He was at one time Harrah's #1 biggest player. Other than his gambling addiction and alcohol addiction he is a very nice guy. I used to work for him years ago; so when he would come in the casino he would tell my employees "Mike and I used to work together". He was a very good tipper.
