We stayed there last January for free on comps

We stayed for three nights gratis and got the room near the elevator on the top floor (which I think is the third...). It was a quaint room and stay, but it was "ok". The A/C didn't work, but it was in January so we just opened up the window and were fine.

The room was small, and closet tiny, but if you take into account that it is an old historic building, it was a nice, comfortable stay. There is no Valet service, but you only have two floors, so you can borrow the valet cart and do it yourself.

Me and the wife (fiancé at the time) were comfortable, but we aren't very picky people anyway.

One of our favorite "wow, it IS an old motel, I remember that.." moments came when we came up out of the elevator one afternoon/evening and were greeted with the moans and squeals of a woman obviously getting...well...ummm...uhhhh...well...what she went to vegas to get.

Been a long time since I have been to a motel that was thin-walled/doored enough to provide that kind of entertainment walking down a hallway. grin

It's probably not a place for the picky folks, but it was fine for us. We enjoyed our stay.
