I have picked this up in an auction with chips and tokens - looks as though this was sent out maybe to invited guests to celebrate the bicentennial in 1976 - the envelope is franked April 13th 1976, and states that this is a certified first issue $2 bill. Inside is the $2 bill.

Anyone have any idea if this has any value (other than the $2 I guess!). I don't collect paper money so it's available (I have 3, although one of the envelopes is torn). They all have a staple in the envelope which seems to be placed so as to keep the bill inside in place (it doesn't pierce the bill, just ensures it doesn't move about)
