Here's The Chief Hotel Court, you can see most of the sign on the far right of the picture. Mr and Mrs Harold Stocker were the "managing owners"...Harold Stocker was the son of Mayme (and Oscar) Stocker. Mayme received the first casino license in Las Vegas when gambling was legalized in 1931.

Look at all the space around Caesars Palace! They actually had room for cars to park in front of the casino! And only one car driving by on the strip...

The Hacienda sign, when the Hacienda was still using it...

Last but not least...Fremont Street, when there was still a street...
