It's no longer "Press 1 for English"/"To continue

... in English..." or whatever the Spanish/English message is here in South Florida and/or elsewhare, as in the past few days I've been working with a few banks who have taken over some other banks (Nationwide/Locally) and notice the same message in French. One bank; PNC who took over National City, has their main office in PA... and when I've been calling them I heard the French message as well... so I gather it's happening in other areas and not just South Florida where FWI folks have been migrating to.

The added-on message did take up my time, somewhat, for as many times I had to call the few banks... but it just might be banks who are doing this at this time.

I didn't mind too much when the message was just Spanish/English, but now in French, too, I kind of wonder which other language will be next.
