Gene Trimble, question... regarding Paul-Son chips

that are notched. I see some are notched with a square or rectangular shape, while others have a cresent shape. Is there a rhyme or reason behind the difference?

While I'm sure there are probably exceptions, it seems that salesman samples are square notched (and also seem to be correct inlay, but wrong chip body) and cresent notching is done on examples that look to be real chips, i.e., correct inlay and correct chip and inlay colors.

Just curious.

Thanks Gene (unless David pops in first). vbg
