I have been to the Paradisus in the Dominican a few times, and have played with these chips. The first time, I'd have to look back at the year, they did not have the chipco cghips. The second time they did. Each time I have been there, they have used both RD$ as well as US$.

Now this said, it does not mean they weren't used elsewhere, it just means that I can varify that these are indeed from Dominican Republic at the least.
