Samples with a marked denomination don't normally carry a premium. I have quite a few of them. However, samples with a salesman's name are less common. I have six with John Liner's name, but there are probably others.

It's hard to put a value on samples, as some collectors think they are worthless and others want every one made. I have the same design as the one you show but mine is drilled for a chain.

Bud Jones samples can sell from $5 to $75, depending on the circumstances. Good luck with it!
